Last night, while sleeping, a word kept echoing in my mind: Conviction, conviction, conviction.
My unconscious was nudging me toward greater bravery in sharing this message today.
So, I don’t want to beat around the bush here – this is the message:
IT’S IMPERATIVE THAT YOU FOLLOW YOUR DEEPER CALLINGS TOWARD A FULLY REALIZED LIFE.
IT’S IMPERATIVE THAT YOU STOP DELAYING YOUR “DREAMS” AND TAKE ACTION ON THEM.
NOT FOR YOU – FOR ALL OF US.
The world we all have co-created – yes, this one we are living in with frightening environmental crises, with deeply entrenched patterns of war and destruction, with the cruelest expressions racism, with countless species rapidly going extinct, with women’s rights that get bopped back and forth like they’re in a ping-pong match, with medical institutions that prioritize dollars over humans…
In my opinion – in my conviction – this world could move on a fast-track toward healing if those of you who have done the work on yourself – the work to heal your personal wounds and live in your compassion – if you would just FOLLOW YOUR DAMN PATH…
…The path that represents your deepest curiosities and desires – the path that awakens your creativity and leadership skills. The path that widens your eyes and opens your heart.
This comes in many different outer forms, but the essence is a shared one – it’s your path of purpose.
In particular, I’m speaking to you Wise Women. (One of my coaches recently said “people might not understand what you mean when you say “Wise Women”, but I disagree.)
YOU LARGE-HEARTED WISE WOMEN KNOW WHO YOU ARE.
You’ve spent much of your life healing your wounds, caring for others, and studying your craft. You deeply feel the pains of the world. You do your best to stay in your heart, even when it’s hard.
You’ve been CALLED to step up and be of service through your art, your organizational prowess, your vision, your voice, your writing, your healing gifts.
You’ve been called to walk a very important path. This call came from all of humanity and the earth itself through the airwaves right into your thoughts because we need you.
So stop denying that you’ve received the call.
And more importantly, stop DELAYING it.
TIME IS UP.
There’s only NOW. And the more you delay, the less likely you are to ever step onto your path.
“So many women die unfinished,” my mom said this morning when we were discussing this on Zoom.
“Or come to that midlife juncture where they don’t push through and instead become complacent and compliant.”
Right now there are CONSEQUENCES to you not living your truth. The world suffers because you are not pursuing your greater potential.
Each action you take that is imbued with truth is an action toward the healing of this world.
A million/billion/trillion of these actions joined together will literally recreate reality as we know it.
BUT THIS CAN ONLY HAPPEN NOW.
And it cannot be done without you. You are a crucial piece of the puzzle.
“But why is it so HARD/SCARY/CONFUSING?” you might be thinking…
It’s so hard/scary/confusing because you haven’t been raised to believe this path for you. The story you carry about yourself – the story you live by – is inaccurate.
Instead you were raised to think you should want something else. You were also raised to think that your value is based on your boobs or your ovaries or your complacency or your agreeableness or your winning participation in the “system” as it already exists.
You have been subtly corralled your whole life into behaving/speaking/presenting a certain way so you don’t make others’ uncomfortable – so you don’t disrupt the status quo.
Sameness = safeness.
And it stagnates our evolution as a species… and your own fulfillment of your potential in this life.
Think about it – YOU’VE COME SO FAR. You’ve done so much to get to where you are. Don’t stop now.
This is the threshold where it really starts to get beautiful…
